Description
Mezo is a dense fabric with tough and natural weave structure. This fabric is woven in a panama weave. This weave gives a coarse structure that provides an extremely natural and matte look.
The material weighs 420 grams per m2 and has a maximum print width of 274 cm in one piece.
BCI for guaranteed quality
Mezo is made according to the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) requirements. This is a partnership between development organizations, environmental organizations and industry and focuses on making cotton farming more sustainable. BCI cotton is grown around the world and blended together in different places. The blending of the cotton ensures guaranteed quality.
Most common applications
The weave structure provides strength, which makes Mezo suitable for furniture upholstery. The material is not fire retardant but is used for decorative applications such as an ornamental pillow or tapestry. Therefore, it may be used that way in public areas.
Martindale score
The Martindale test shows how hard-wearing a fabric is. The higher the score in numbers, the higher the fabric's abrasion resistance. To determine the value, the fabric is tested under a certain pressure. Velour has a score of 15,000 which represents normal seating use. Normal seating use means that the seating will not be used intensively, but it can certainly be used a lot before the chair is finished. For example, give furniture with this score a place in your canteen or meeting room.
Finishing options
At Mezo, a variety of finishes are available. For example, you can choose to have the material cut, hemmed or tunneled. If you choose finishing per side, the first color choice of yarn is carried through for each side.
