Blackback

 Blackback is a polyester fabric that blocks out light. The name actually says it all: the material has a black blockout backing. This keeps your print perfectly visible. The front has a matte, fine structure and a natural look.

Blackback Soft and XL

There are two different types of Blackback: Soft and XL. Due to the printing technique, the inks in Blackback Soft are odorless and you can ship this material more easily and economically because it is foldable. This material has a maximum print width of 310 cm in one piece and weighs 260 gr/m2.

Do you need a canvas at a large size? Then Blackback XL is the best option. This material is slightly lighter than Blackback Soft. The maximum print width of 498 cm in one piece allows you to use this material widely. This fabric weighs 210 gr/m2.

Most common applications

Blackback is primarily used for indoor applications. The material is fire retardant and therefore suitable for public areas.

This fabric type is widely used for trade shows. Think of tendon cloths, textile frames and banners.

Combining with textile frames

The material is often used in textile frames as tendon fabric with stabilizers. Because of the blockout effect, you do not see the stabilizers. The fabric can also be used in light boxes: if light has to be blocked on one side. The material is then very suitable in combination with Samba backlit.

Simple assembly

Mounting blocking tendon cloths is easy. Use the special, plastic e-lock tool for this purpose. With this handy tool, you quickly press the cloth into the frame. This makes it easy to have a nice tightly stretched canvas.
