Flag

 

Flag is a transparent, polyester fabric with a very fine structure. The material has a light and shiny structure.

The fabric is weatherproof and can therefore be washed. Due to the open structure, the material has a high wind transmission. Thus, the material can be used outdoors without being blown to pieces immediately.

The material has a maximum one-piece print width of 306 cm. Weighing 110 grams/m2, this is a very light material.

Print visible on the back

This material is printed on one side only. Because of its fine and open structure, the print prints through on the back of the material. As much as 98% of the print comes back on the reverse side in mirror image. Your print is thus clearly visible on both sides.

Most common applications

Flag can be used both indoors and outdoors. It has a fire certificate and is therefore also suitable for public areas. The material is used as a banner, beach flag, banner flag, building fence banner and facade flag, among others.

The inks are not UV light resistant. So over time the colors will fade in outdoor applications. However, this process will take longer than the life of the material, so this need not be a problem.

Different flag materials

Flag, Flag PET and Flag Longlife are three materials that are tremendously similar. Flag is the basic variant and has good quality. Flag PET is similar to the basic variety in everything. The only difference is the durability of the material. In fact, this material is 100% made from recycled material. Flag Longlife does not fray as quickly due to its slightly coarser structure. As a result, hemming is not necessary and the delivery time is shorter than the other variants.

Finishing options

The material Flag has many finishing options. The most common is a strap with hooks. You use this for a mast flag. At the top of the flag then often comes a tunnel, this way your flag can be seen and read easily even without wind power. To extend the life of the material, you can choose to have it hemmed. The material frays quickly, but because of the hem, this no longer happens.

In addition, another option is to add velcro, tunnels, strap with d-rings, strap with cord or a strap with rings.
