Description
Dead spot stickers warn pedestrians, cyclists and other road users about blind spots. These are the areas around the vehicle that the driver, of that same vehicle, cannot see. In France, it is mandatory for vehicles heavier than 3,500 kilograms to affix three blind spot stickers.
The stickers are 17 x 25 cm in size and feature a permanent print that reads: Attention and Angles Morts.
Self-adhesive or magnetic
You have the choice of an adhesive or magnetic version. The self-adhesive sticker can be stuck on basically any surface. Is your vehicle made of metal? Then choose the magnetic sticker. These are reusable and can be removed from your vehicle when you are no longer in an area where the sticker is required. Both versions are weather and water resistant and can be used for a longer period of time.
Legal requirements blind spot sticker
The sticker must be applied in three places: the back, left and right sides. In all three places, the sticker should be placed between 90 and 150 cm from the ground. On the left and right side, it should be placed 100 cm from the front.
