Velvet

Glossy velour fabric for a luxurious feel
Category:

Description

Velvet, velvet or also called velvet, is a luxurious fabric with a subtle silk sheen that feels velvety soft. This is because the fabric is low-pile. Velvet adds shine and strength to your personalized print and creates dynamic color contrasts.
The material weighs 320 grams per m2 and has a maximum print width of 286 x 2000cm in one piece.
Most common applications

This fabric is perfect for indoor applications such as a decorative pillow, tapestry or a tendon cloth in a textile frame. You offer your customer the same fabric on various products. This way you create a powerful cohesive whole in your customer's interior and set yourself apart from your competitors.
The material is not fire retardant but Velours is used for decorative applications such as an ornamental pillow or tapestry. Therefore, it may be used that way in public areas.
Martindale score

The Martindale test shows how hard-wearing a fabric is. The higher the score in numbers, the higher the fabric's abrasion resistance. To determine the value, the fabric is tested under a certain pressure. Velour has a score of 40,000 which represents intensive seating use. So you can use this fabric well for furniture.
Finishing options

With Velours, there are a variety of finishes available. For example, you can choose to have the material cut, hemmed or fitted with a tunnel and sinew. If you choose finishing per side, the first color choice of yarn will be carried through for each side.
